Wearable art has been around since before there was fire. Students learn the fundamentals of casting metal through direct casting into cuttlefish and carving wax. The whole process is covered from creating a mold, burning out the wax, watching molten metal fill the mold, cleaning and finishing. Silver is included for the initial project, additional silver is available for sale.
Description
In this 3 day course, students learn the basic components of forming and making a locket. Each student will leave with a handmade custom silver locket, ready to add your favorite photo to. No experience required.
