We offer custom events in welding, jewelry and metal casting. Workshops are typically 4 hours long and can include a custom tasting at the Sam Adams Brewery across the street from our studio. Groups of 2 – 3 are $225/person. 4 or more are $185/person.
Custom events include Team Building, Birthday Parties, Interactive School Tours and Bachelorette Welding Parties. Wedding Ring and Engagement Ring workshops are also available. Please contact us to discuss details for any of these options.
Tying the knot? Make your own (or each others’) wedding bands! In this one-day workshop, you’ll saw, file, hammer and solder as we guide you through the process of crafting a pair of professional-quality rings. In addition to your bands, you’ll take home a pair of silver practice bands and a bottle of champagne!
-Workshops cost $850 + materials for traditional bands, which is about 6 hours. Plan on a booking lead time of at least 6 weeks and a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to schedule your workshop.
-A short design consultation with your instructor is included a few weeks prior to your workshop date; this allows us time to order materials. Metals are provided at cost, and a final estimate will be provided at this time.
-We normally take a 30-45 minute break for lunch as needed. Couples should come prepared with closed-toed shoes, tied-back long hair and a can-do attitude!
-In order to recycle personal gold jewelry into raw ring materials, the workshop requires an additional two hours, and costs $1000. Couples will only pay for supplemental materials, if needed. * There will be an extra hourly charge if recycled jewelry requires preparation, such as removing stones.
-Non-standard wedding band designs are limited to those that only require light forming; for designs that require more elaborate forming and shaping processes, bi-metal, or stone setting, please consider commissioning your band from one of our instructors.
