  • Course Overview: Immerse yourself in the dynamic world of creative welding as we blend the precision of metalwork with the freedom of artistic expression. This course is designed for welding enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners eager to grasp the basics to seasoned welders seeking to unleash their artistic potential.

    • Develop fundamental welding skills through hands-on exercises, including MIG, and arc welding techniques.
    • Cultivate a creative mindset by exploring the intersection of functionality and artistry in metalwork.
    • Create unique, personalized projects that showcase your individual style, from abstract sculptures to functional yet aesthetically pleasing structures.
  • Hands-On Projects:
    • Craft a customized metal sculpture using various welding techniques, integrating form and function.
  • Final Showcase: Conclude the course by exhibiting your masterpieces in a public showcase, celebrating the diversity of creative welding within our community. This course is not just about welding; it’s about forging a connection between craftsmanship and imagination, transforming raw materials into expressions of creativity that endure. Join us on this journey of molten inspiration!

All safety gear is included, however, students are welcome to bring their own ANSI-approved safety glasses/face shields, welding hoods (minimum Shade 9), and gloves.

Students should wear durable closed-toe leather shoes, non-frayed jeans, a long sleeve natural fiber shirt, an old cap or bandana and tie back long hair.

This class is open to all levels. We also offer one day workshops, an 8 hour intensive and summer teen classes.

Metal casting, jewelry making and mold making are available. Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring workshops, teen welding intensives, and more!

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation at 7 days prior to the first class will result in a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
  • Cancellation at 6 days or less will result in a refund of 50% tuition or the full tuition can be used towards a different class within 12 months. The student is responsible for any differences in tuition or materials cost.
  • Students who neglect to cancel prior to the first class will have the option of transferring their tuition to another class or receiving a 50% refund. NO refunds will be made after the first class runs. Please make sure you fully understand what you are registering for prior to the class.
