This 6 week course for those who wish to enhance their welding skills. We offer students the opportunity to explore more technical aspects of the welding types we teach. The course is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in advancing their knowledge of welding. We recommend starting with our Welding 1 course for those who are new to welding.

Description

Exploring the fundamentals of welding, this course is designed for students who have completed welding 1 or have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of welding. Welders with some welding experience will benefit from this extensive training course. The hands-on training we provide will allow you to develop and advance your skills in GMAW (MIG), SMAW (STIK), and GTAW (TIG). Beginner welders should begin with our welding 1 course.

All safety gear is included, however, students are welcome to bring their own ANSI-approved safety glasses/face shields, welding hoods (minimum Shade 10), and gloves.

Students should wear durable closed-toe leather shoes, non-frayed jeans, a long sleeve natural fiber shirt, an old cap or bandana and tie back long hair.

 

Metal casting, jewelry making and mold making are available. Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring workshops, teen welding intensives, and more!

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation at 7 days prior to the first class will result in a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
  • Cancellation at 6 days or less will result in a refund of 50% tuition or the full tuition can be used towards a different class within 12 months. The student is responsible for any differences in tuition or materials cost.
  • Students who neglect to cancel prior to the first class will have the option of transferring their tuition to another class or receiving a 50% refund. NO refunds will be made after the first class runs. Please make sure you fully understand what you are registering for prior to the class.
