Kara Leung

Kara Leung received her BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry from Maine College of Art. After graduating, she apprenticed for 2 years under a master jeweler refining her skills while working on gold and platinum estate jewelry. Before moving to Boston she worked for 10 years at a high end gallery in Portland, ME collaborating with the owner on the design and fabrication of custom pieces. Kara now works as an obstetrics RN at Boston Medical Center, but she still enjoys the creativity and challenge of bench work.
