Our Advanced Welding course builds upon the foundation you gained from our Introduction to Welding course. Explore new areas including SMAW ('Stick'), GMAW ('MIG'), and/or Oxy-acetylene welding while also improving skills in GTAW ('TIG') welding. Suitable for those interested in metal sculpture, working with found metal, or honing their welding skills for personal or professional use.

Prerequisite: Completion of Stonybrook Fine Arts' Introduction to Welding within the last two years, with regular use of the skills learned. Experience with relevant welding processes outside of Stonybrook Fine Arts may be eligible for evaluation.
