The goal of this advanced jewelry-making class is to enhance students’ understanding of the fundamentals of jewelry-making so they can make their own wearable designs. Our process begins with sawing, filing, soldering, polishing, hinge making, and other traditional fabrication skills. With these skills, students conceptualize and create their own design!

In this 6 week intermediate course, students expand on the topics and skills learned in Jewelry 1. The curriculum is flexible based on what students want to make and learn. Some techniques learned in this course are hinge making, hollow forms, rivets, advanced soldering techniques, and prong settings. Jewelry 1 or prior approval from the instructor required to take this course.

Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring workshops, teen welding intensives, and more!

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation at 7 days prior to the first class will result in a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
  • Cancellation at 6 days or less will result in a refund of 50% tuition or the full tuition can be used towards a different class within 12 months. The student is responsible for any differences in tuition or materials cost.
  • Students who neglect to cancel prior to the first class will have the option of transferring their tuition to another class or receiving a 50% refund. NO refunds will be made after the first class runs. Please make sure you fully understand what you are registering for prior to the class.
